Girl,
Interrupted
by
Artem Kholodenko
Girl,
Interrupted Review This film happened to be equally
as crazy as its characters. The basic plot was about
a girl with some emotional problems being sent to a
mental institution and discovering new things about
life and people. Although you learn to look past the
obvious about people and search for their inner self,
you are left with a head full of strange scenes at the
end of the film. As many things in the world are, this
is a picture that would probably appeal to people of
certain likes, yet would be a "thumb down" for those
with different enjoyments. For the deep and intellectual
types, who enjoy a good challenge in figuring out the
meaning behind a movie, "Girl, Interrupted" is perfect.
However for the rest of us a simpler and less brain-bending
production would have been more accepted. One of the
interesting factors is that the actors really did a
good job on their parts. It was whether that or they
were really mentally unstable. Their problems are believable
and realistic and emphasize the setting even more. Over
the entire movie gets a B because disregarding the negative
aspects, the positive ones still scored some points.
