Synopsis
Based on the classic theme
park ride, swashbuckling rogue Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp)
teams up with a local blacksmith, Will Turner (Orlando
Bloom), to rescue the kidnapped governor's daughter from
the evil Captain Blackheart and his band of pirates --
who are neither alive nor dead, thanks to an ancient curse.
Review
It
has been decades since a good pirate-genre film surfaced
in theaters. Some might think that the genre is dead,
however Jonny Depp, along with Orlando Bloom and others
prove to us that the excitement of adventure and the open
see is still as fun as it has always been.
One of the most positive aspect that leaves the audience
with a good feeling is the fact that Gore Verbinski succeeds
in creating a true modern day epic adventure. the film
has everything in it: attrative lead female, attractive
lead male, mysterious supporting actor, fighting, pirates,
and much more!
The
package comes together well and never has you bored during
the 143 minute run, which is a little longer than some
might want.
