Synopsis
DEA
agent Sean Vetter (Vin Diesel) and his partner (Larenz
Tate) team up with a jailed druglord to take down a mysterious,
dangerous man (Timothy Olyphant), known only as Diablo,
who has taken over the powerful drug cartel.
Review
This
new film starring
the blockbuster success that is Vin Diesel goes to show
a different, more human side of the action hero. While
the string of violent behavior that is often seen in his
characters (such as the gang leader in "That Fast
and the Furious") is still present, a true care shines
through.
This time Vin Diesel follows the links of a drug cartel
all the way to the top, with the body count mounting endlessly.
Though some of the events fulfill pure stereotypes of
the Mexican druglords, some scenes appear to be queit
realistic..
While
"A Man Apart" should not be at the top of any
moviewatcher's must-see list, it still worth seeing and
judging for yourself.
