COLLATERAL
DAMAGE
Synopsis
When Colombian terrorists blow up a U.S. consulate, the
wife and son of an American fireman (Arnold Schwarzenegger)
are killed. Arnold gears up, pumps up, and blows stuff
up in retaliation for the attack in this thriller from
director Andrew Davis (The Fugitive).
Review
Arnold.
That is all that should be written on the screen during
the preview of any film staring the classic action hero
- at least that would enough for any hard-core Arnold
fan like myself.
As noticed through the last couple of his projects, the
characters of Arnold have shrunk in their magnitude from
secret agent and operative to pilot and firefighter. While
playing less exciting characters, he still goes on out-of-this-world
adventures.
While
"Collateral Damage" is not one of the best films
of Schwarzenegger, it accumulates its audience based on
relatively recent events in US history of terrorism. Yet,
noticing a trend of enjoying watching Arnold films over
and over, looking for favorite parts, this is another
movie that simply needs to grow on some, while already
considered a winner by others. But judge for yourself,
in theaters near you.
