Technology is improving day by day, amazing us in ways previous not imaginable. "Dinosaur" is the latest example of the creative progress made. Featuring a combination of CGI (computer generated images), real-time filming, and computer animation, the movie comes off as the first of its kind. Thinking that the triple combination is unsuitable is absolutely wrong. When watching the movie, I paid direct attention to the supposed realistic aspect of the film and it looked completely real. During a certain rain scene, the "actual" moist ground reflects its powers on the man-made dinosaurs, making them look more real than ever before.

The film itself is one not only for the innocent children, but in fact is appealing to teens as well. While partially due to the fact that it was made with the use of computers, the film was pleasant to watch. However, far from winning any awards for the exceptions of special effects or graphics, the film was a typical children film. Censoring any gory scenes, which were implied often, he directors managed to avoid any controversial situations. "Dinosaur" is not a film one should rush to the theater to watch, but as a get away with the kids, it's a great experience.

The Global Zona rating for the film is a C+. The reason for that is because it is a simple kids film that has no deep meaning for the exception of helping others and being caring - typical Disney propaganda. Otherwise there was nothing special about the plot itself.
